Accomack Co., VA (November 24, 2023) – A father and his daughter were both killed in a truck accident that occurred in Accomack County on Tuesday afternoon, November 21.
At around 4:15 p.m., the Virginia State Police responded to the scene of a major crash on Route 13, Lankford Highway. Reports show that a man was driving a Mazda CX-30 when his vehicle collided head-on with a Freightliner truck.
The man was severely hurt in the crash and rushed to Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital for emergency care. Authorities confirmed that the man passed away from his injuries. A 17-year-old female in the car died on impact and was pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, investigations are underway.
