Apopka, FL – Bud Light Truck Crash on Boy Scout Blvd near W Orange Blossom Trail Ends in Injuries

Apopka, FL (July 23, 2023) – A major truck accident was reported on Friday morning that ended in injuries.

At around 6:00 a.m. on July 21, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a truck accident on Boy Scout Boulevard.

Reports from Florida Highway Patrol indicate that a Bug Light truck attempted to make a left turn onto Boy Scout Boulevard from West Orange Blossom Trail when it collided with a Chevrolet Malibu.

The impact of the crash caused the truck to drop beer cans across the highway.

One person was severely injured as a result of the crash. The victim was airlifted and flown to Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center for the treatment of critical injuries.

Crews closed off the roadway for an extended period while working to clear the road. At around 9:30 a.m., the road was reopened for travel.
