Arcadia, CA – Truck Wreck on Santa Anita Ave near E Huntington Dr Ends in Injuries

Arcadia, CA (August 24, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident took place on Wednesday that ended in injuries. At around 9:00 a.m. on August 23, emergency crews were called to the scene of a collision on Santa Anita Avenue.

Reports from local law enforcement show that a dump truck loaded with dirt and concrete was traveling down the roadway when it became involved in a collision with two other vehicles near East Huntington Drive. The truck struck a fire hydrant, causing the vehicle to flip over. The dump trucks spilled dirt and concrete pieces across the roadway.

Arcadia Fire Department responded to the scene to assist the police. Firefighters removed the driver from the vehicle.

Multiple injuries were reported in the crash. Medics transported those in need of further care to local hospitals.
