Aurora, CO – Fire Truck Crash with SUV on Peoria St Leaves Three Injured

Aurora, CO (May 3, 2023) – On April 29, the Aurora Police Department and Aurora Fire Department responded to the scene of an automobile accident that took place on Saturday morning, April 29.

At approximately 8:00 a.m., authorities were called to a crash that took place on Peoria Street.

Reports from APD show that a fire truck and an SUV collided on the northbound side of the roadway. The incident took place near the fire station, blocking multiple lanes of travel. Emergency crews responded to the scene to provide care for the victims. Both the driver of the SUV and the driver of the fire truck suffered injuries in the crash. Both drivers were transported to local hospitals for emergency treatment of injuries.

A third victim was also injured in the accident. The victim received medical care while at the scene.

The Aurora Police Department initiated an investigation to determine what caused the crash. However, the Colorado State Patrol took over the investigations.
