Aurora, OR (September 15, 2023) – A motorcycle accident took place in Marion County on Thursday that claimed one person’s life.
The accident was reported at around 3:25 a.m. on September 13.
According to reports from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, a semi-truck tractor-trailer was traveling northbound on Bents Road. As the vehicle attempted to turn onto Arndt Road, it collided with a motorcycle in the area just west of Interstate 5.
The motorcyclist, identified as a 35-year-old man from Aurora, Oregon, was fatally injured. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. No one else involved in the crash was injured.
At this time, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
