Black Lick, PA (November 13, 2023) – Emergency crews in Indiana County reported that a motor vehicle accident occurred in the Black Lick area, sending multiple victims to area hospitals with injuries.
The collision was reported at around 2:20 p.m. on November 10.
According to local law enforcement, a dump truck was traveling north on Route 119. As the vehicle approached the intersection with Main Street, the driver failed to stop at the red light. As a result, the vehicle proceeded forward and struck a sedan. The dump truck then collided head-on with a pickup truck before overturning. All of the cargo spilled out of the dump truck onto the roadway, prompting the closure of the road for several hours.
Multiple victims were injured as a result of the crash. The injured parties were transported by ambulance to local hospitals.
The Pennsylvania State Police are currently investigating the incident.
