Bolivar, NC (June 3, 2023) – A truck accident took place in the boulevard area on Friday morning that sent two people to area hospitals with injuries.
The crash was reported at around 10:40 a.m. on June 2.
Reports provided by the Brunswick County Sheriff’s office show that a dump truck and a car collided on North Carolina 906 in the area of Rutland Road. The impact of the crash caused the car to go off the side of the roadway and overturn.
Two people were trapped inside the car, requiring them to be removed by firefighters.
Both victims were injured in the crash. The two victims were transported by EMS to an area hospital for emergency treatment.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
