Boston, MA – Five Injured in Amtrak Truck Crash near Boston Rail Yard

Boston, MA (May 16, 2023) – Several people were left injured following a truck accident that took place in the Hyde Park neighborhood on Friday morning.

At approximately 4:30 a.m. on May 12, the police and firefighters out of Boston assisted the transit police at the scene of an accident.

Reports show that Amtrak trucks were involved in an accident at the railyard during the early morning hours. As a result, five people suffered injuries in the accident. Reports show that two Amtrak trucks collided while occupying the tracks.

The victims were rendered aid while still at the Readville commuter rail station. The victims were then transported by ambulance for further medical care.
