Camden Twp., OH – Two Hurt in Truck Wreck on SR-511

Camden Twp., OH (November 28, 2023) – A truck accident reported in Lorain County on Sunday left two men injured. The crash occurred at around 8:30 p.m. on November 26.

Reports provided by the Ohio State Highway Patrol show that a 1977 Kenworth semi-truck, which was driven by a 62-year-old man from Wellington, was turning southbound onto Ohio State Route 511 after leaving a private driveway. As the vehicle entered the roadway, it collided with a 2020 Ford EcoSport.

The driver of the Ford was injured in the crash. He was airlifted by Life Flight and flown to the MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland for emergency care. An 18-year-old passenger in the Ford was also injured. He was transported to Mercy Health Hospital in Lorain for treatment. At this time, investigations into the crash are underway.
