Cedar Rapids, IA (November 7, 2023) – A truck accident reported in the Cedar Rapids area resulted in injuries. On November 6, the Cedar Rapids Police Department, Cedar Rapids Fire Department, and a specialized towing service responded to the scene of an automobile accident that took place during the morning hours.
According to official reports, two semi-tractor trailers collided on Highway 30. The vehicles were described as a farm livestock hauler and a material hauler.
The livestock hauler was carrying 470 pigs at the time of the incident. The crash caused severe delays in the area around C Street as emergency crews worked to clear the road.
