Charlotte, NC – Two Hurt in Wreck on S Tyron St near Tyvola Rd & Shopton Rd

Charlotte, NC (October 14, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident involving a commercial vehicle occurred in the Charlotte area on Friday morning, October 13.

At around 2:30 a.m., authorities out of Charlotte were called to the scene of an accident on South Tyrone Street.

According to official reports, a MEDIC truck was involved in a collision with a second vehicle on the roadway in the area between Tyvola Road and Shopton Road. Authorities responded to the scene and shut down the roadway while assisting.

Two people were injured as a result of the crash. Emergency medical services responded to care for the victims and transported them to local hospitals.

The incident is being investigated at this time.
