Chattanooga, TN (October 29, 2023) – A 46-year-old man suffered injuries as a result of a truck accident that took place on Saturday morning in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The accident was reported just after 5:50 a.m. on October 28.
Reports from the Tennessee Highway Patrol show that a tanker trailer was stopped on the eastbound shoulder of Interstate 24 during the morning hours. A semi-truck hauling garbage was traveling in the 17500 block of Interstate 24 when it collided with the other truck. The impact of the crash caused one vehicle to overturn.
One person involved in the crash, a 46-year-old, sustained injuries in the accident. The victim was transported to a local hospital for emergency care by the Hamilton County EMS.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
