College Park, MD (September 1, 2023) – A 26-year-old has died as a result of a crash that occurred in the College Park area.
Just before 11:00 p.m. on August 30, the Maryland State Police responded to the scene of an automobile accident that occurred in Prince George’s County.
Reports show that a 1994 Toyota Camry was involved in a collision with a 2004 Peterbilt dump truck. The incident occurred on the eastbound side of US Route 50 near Maryland Route 202.
A 26-year-old male, who was a passenger in the Toyota, was fatally injured. Emergency medical services personnel pronounced the man deceased at the scene.
A 25-year-old man from Bowie, Maryland, was transported to an area hospital for emergency treatment of injuries.
The crash is being investigated by the Maryland State Police Crash Team at this time.
