Colorado Springs, CO (May 3, 2023) – A crash involving an Amazon truck took place in the Colorado Springs area on Sunday morning that left two people injured.
The accident was reported at approximately 1:15 a.m. on April 16.
Reports provided by the Colorado Springs Fire Department show that a collision between a car and an Amazon truck took place on South Powers Boulevard in the area near East Proby Parkway. The car became wedged underneath the Amazon truck, with one person trapped inside.
The victim had to be extricated by firefighters. The trapped victim and a second person both suffered injuries as a result of the accident. The two victims were transported to area hospitals for emergency medical care.
The Colorado Springs Police Department is investigating the incident.
