Colorado Springs, CO (May 3, 2023) – A truck accident was reported in the Colorado Springs area on Thursday morning that prompted the response of emergency personnel.
At around 8:15 a.m. on April 22, the Colorado Springs Police Department responded to the site of an automobile accident on Interstate 25.
Reports show that a semi-truck and at least one other vehicle collided on the southbound side of the interstate. The incident prompted the police to close down a portion of the roadway just north of Woodmen Road.
An unknown number of people were injured as a result of the accident. Medics responded to care for those harmed before transporting them to local hospitals for further medical attention.
