Davies, FL (May 15, 2023) – A motorcyclist lost their life following a truck crash that took place early Saturday morning in Davie.
On May 13, the Davie Police Department responded to the site of a motor vehicle collision that occurred on Southwest 36th Street.
Preliminary investigations provided by DPD show that a motorcycle and a semi-truck collided on Southwest 36th Street in the area of Oakes Road. The semi-truck fled the scene of the accident without stopping.
The motorcyclist, who has not been publicly identified, suffered fatal injuries. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
The Davie Police Department is currently investigating the incident.
