Davie, FL – One Killed in Fatal 18-Wheeler Crash on Florida’s Turnpike near I-595

Davie, FL (June 24, 2023) – On June 23, troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of an automobile accident that took place in Davie and claimed one man’s life.

According to reports by the Florida Highway Patrol, a semi-truck and a Honda Civic collided on the northbound side of Florida’s Turnpike in the area near the exit ramp for Interstate 595. The incident caused significant disruptions throughout the area.

The driver of the Honda Civic, identified as an adult male, was fatally injured. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers are currently investigating the accident. No other injuries were reported.
