DeKalb Co., GA (November 18, 2023) – A truck accident reported in the cold County resulted in injuries. The accident occurred at around 5:50 a.m. on November 16. The Georgia State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of the accident that occurred on Interstate 85.
Official reports indicate that a propane truck and an unknown number of vehicles were involved in a crash on the highway near Pleasantdale Road. The crash prompted officials to shut down the road for an extended period as a hazmat crew responded to the scene to assist. Three people were injured as a result of the accident. The victims were transported to area hospitals for emergency care. The incident is being investigated at this time.
