Detroit, MI (June 23, 2023) – A major truck accident was reported early Friday evening in Detroit.
On June 23, the Michigan state police responded to the scene of an accident on Interstate 75.
Reports from authorities show that a 27-year-old driver was traveling north on Interstate 75 when they lost control of their vehicle near Warren Avenue. As a result, the vehicle became involved in a crash with a semi-truck. The semi-truck driver lost control of their vehicle and struck a median wall before flipping over the median in landing on the southbound side of the road. A third vehicle was also involved in the accident.
A total of seven people suffered injuries as a result of the accident. The victims were transported to area hospitals for emergency care.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
