Fargo, ND (July 10, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident involving a semi-truck claimed the life of a man from Florida early Sunday, July 9.
At around 2:48 a.m., the North Dakota Highway Patrol responded to the scene of an auto accident on Interstate 29.
Preliminary reports from NDHP show that a man was driving a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck north along Interstate 29 when he became involved in a collision. The driver of the vehicle was ejected from his vehicle.
The man was then struck by a 2023 International Truck, which was hauling a 2016 Manac 53-foot van trailer.
The pedestrian was fatally injured and pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, this fatal crash is being investigated by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
