Fresno, CA – Big Rig Wreck on Manning Ave near McMullin Grade Takes One Life

Fresno, CA (July 15, 2023) – A woman lost her life as a result of a major truck accident that took place in Fresno County on Friday morning, July 14.

At around 5:00 a.m., the California Highway Patrol troopers were called to the scene of a crash that occurred on Manning Avenue.

Reports show that a 21-year-old man was operating a 2012 Dodge Avenger while driving east on Manning Avenue. As the vehicle proceeded through the intersection of McMullin Grade, it was struck by a commercial big rig.

A passenger in the Dodge, identified as an adult female, was severely hurt in the accident. She passed away from her injuries at the scene.

The Dodge driver was severely hurt in the crash and rushed by ambulance to Community Regional Medical Center, where he underwent emergency medical care.

The big rig driver, identified as a 42-year-old man, was not injured.

The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident.
