Glyndon, MN – Woman Fatally Wounded in Truck Crash near 70th St & 90th Ave

Glyndon, MN (June 29, 2023) – The Clay County Sheriff’s office responded to the scene of an automobile accident that took place in Clay County and claimed the life of an 18-year-old woman.

The accident occurred just before 4:00 p.m. on June 28.

According to reports from the Sheriff’s office, a semi-truck and a sedan collided at the intersection of 70^th Street and 90^th Avenue North. The incident prompted the police to shut down the roadway as they worked to clear the scene.

Deputies immediately attempted to render lifesaving efforts to the driver of the sedan, identified as an 18-year-old female. The Sanford Ambulance and Airmed also responded to the scene to provide assistance. However, the woman ended up passing away as a result of her injury.

At this time, the Sheriff’s office in Clay County and the Minnesota State Patrol are investigating.
