Gramercy Park, NY – Bicyclist Fatally Struck by Amazon Truck on First Ave near E 17th St

Gramercy Park, NY (June 17, 2023) – A bicyclist died as a result of a crash that took place in the Gramercy Park section of New York City.

The accident occurred during the afternoon hours on June 16.

According to police reports, an 18-year-old was riding a bicycle in the area of First Avenue and East 17^th Street. For unknown reasons, they were struck by an Amazon truck. The bicyclist was severely hurt due to the crash. Despite medical efforts, the bicyclist ended up passing away as a result of their injuries.

The accident is currently being investigated. No other injuries were reported.
