Green Twp., IN (November 13, 2023) – A woman lost her life as a result of an automobile accident in Wayne County on Saturday morning, November 11.
According to reports from the Wayne County Sheriff’s office, a 2011 Honda Accord was heading southbound on US Highway 35, driven by a 35-year-old woman. For unknown reasons, the Honda collided with a semi-truck tractor-trailer, which was traveling north on the roadway near Davis Meyers Road.
The driver of the semi-truck, who was hauling feed for Reynolds Service Tech, Inc., was injured in the crash. The victim was transported to Reed Hospital for emergency care.
The driver of the Honda suffered fatal injuries. She was pronounced deceased by authorities.
At this time, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
