Guadalupe, AZ – ADOT Sub-Contractor Loses life in Truck Crash on I-10 near Guadalupe Rd

Guadalupe, AZ (May 21, 2023) – One person suffered fatal injuries following a truck accident that took place on Thursday.

The accident was reported on May 18 during the morning hours.

Reports from authorities show that an Arizona Department of Transportation worker was struck by a semi-truck on Interstate 10 near Guadalupe Road. The worker was operating a Boone lift at the time of the accident when they were struck by the semi. The force of the crash caused the worker to be ejected from the vehicle.

The worker was severely injured as a result of the crash. The victim was provided care at the scene and transported to an area hospital. Authorities confirm that the victim passed away after arriving.
