Halfmoon, NY (October 31, 2023) – A pedestrian accident reported in the Halfmoon area claimed one person’s life. The accident occurred on Sunday morning, October 29.
At around 5:00 a.m., the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the scene of the accident on Route 9.
According to reports provided by the Sheriff’s office, a 41-year-old man was driving a 2023 Ford Econoline box truck north on Route 9. For unknown reasons, the vehicle struck a 41-year-old man near Sitterly Road.
The pedestrian, a 41-year-old from Clifton Park, New York, suffered fatal injuries. He was pronounced dead after being transported to Samaritan Hospital.
At this time, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
