Houston, TX (June 19, 2023) – One woman was left injured as a result of a major truck accident that took place in the Houston area.
At around 1:40 a.m., the Houston Fire Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a crash on the North Loop Freeway West Service Road.
According to official reports, a head-on collision involving an 18-wheeler and a second vehicle took place on the roadway during the early morning hours. The impact of the crash caused the second vehicle to fall off the freeway and land on the ground level below.
A woman was trapped inside of her vehicle as a result of the accident. She had to be extricated by firefighters with the Houston fire department.
The woman was transported by ambulance in critical condition for emergency care.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
