Indian River Co., FL – I-95 Crash on State Rd 60 Leaves Two Hurt

Indian River Co., FL (November 15, 2023) – Two people were transported by ambulance to area hospitals with injuries following an automobile accident that occurred on Tuesday morning in Indian River County. Firefighters with Indian River County Fire Rescue were called to the scene of the crash at approximately 6:30 a.m. on November 14.

According to local news sources, a commercial truck was towing a trailer on Interstate 95. As the vehicle proceeded down the eastbound side of the roadway, it was involved in a collision with two additional vehicles near State Road 60. Firefighters shut down the roadway while providing assistance.

Injuries were reported as a result of this collision. One of the involved victims was transported to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce, Florida, for emergency treatment. The second victim, identified as a male, was transported to Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital in Vero Beach, Florida. The incident is currently being investigated.
