Indianapolis, IN (November 8, 2023) – Two people were transported to area hospitals with injuries following a truck accident that took place in the Indianapolis area. The crash was reported at around 3:20 p.m. on November 7.
According to reports provided by the Indiana Department of Transportation, a semi-truck tractor-trailer and multiple other vehicles collided on the westbound side of Interstate 70. The incident blocked multiple lanes of the roadway, prompting traffic to come to a halt near the North Split.
Emergency crews remained at the scene for more than an hour as they worked to remove all of the damage to vehicles from the scene.
Two people suffered injuries as a result of the crash and had to be transported to local medical facilities for emergency treatment.
The cause of the collision is currently being investigated.
