Indiantown, FL (September 11, 2023) – A crash reported in the Indiantown area claimed the lives of two men in their 20s.
The accident occurred at around 5:00 p.m. on September 8.
According to reports provided by the Martin County Fire Rescue officials, a semi-truck and a silver sedan collided on Southwest Warfield Boulevard just north of Tommy Clements Road. The impact of the crash sent the sedan off the roadway, where it came to rest in a tree line.
Two men were fatally injured in the crash. The victims were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi-truck, identified as an adult male, was initially trapped in his vehicle. He was extricated and transported to a local hospital.
The Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating the crash.
