Jackson County, FL (October 9, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident reported early Sunday morning sent one person to an area hospital for emergency medical care.
The crash occurred at around 2:50 a.m. on October 8.
Reports provided by the Florida Highway Patrol indicate that her tractor-trailer was traveling east on Interstate 10 when he became involved in a collision near mile marker 137. The impact of the crash caused the tractor-trailer to roll over in the center grass median. After approximately one mile, the vehicle reentered the roadway and overcorrected before turning over onto its side and became involved in a collision with a car.
The driver of the car was seriously injured as a result of the crash and transported to a local medical facility for emergency care.
The crash is currently being investigated.
