Kansas City, MO (June 22, 2023) – Injuries were reported as a result of a motor vehicle crash that occurred in the Kansas City area.
On June 20, calls for assistance were received by the Kansas City Police Department regarding a crash on Interstate 670.
Reports show that just after 5:45 a.m., a collision between a cement truck, a stolen Hyundai, and three other vehicles occurred on the westbound side of Interstate 670. The incident prompted the closure of multiple lanes in the area of Interstate 70.
Emergency crews responded to care for the injured victims on-site. Multiple victims were injured and had to be transported to area hospitals for further treatment. One driver reportedly suffered serious injuries.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
