Kissimmee, FL (July 26, 2023) – The driver of a tow truck has died as a result of a truck accident that occurred in Osceola County on Monday morning, July 24.
According to reports, a 24-year-old man from Ohio was driving a tow truck on Poinciana Parkway at around 9:20 a.m. He was hauling a 2018 Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class in the area of Marigold Avenue when his vehicle became involved in a collision with a tanker truck.
The driver of the tanker truck, identified as a 65-year-old man from the Winter Park area, suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the tow truck incurred fatal injuries in the crash. Authorities subsequently pronounced the victim deceased.
At this time, the incident is being investigated by the Florida Highway Patrol.
