Lafayette County, WI (June 21, 2023) – A 19-year-old has died as a result of a major truck crash that occurred in Lafayette County on Monday, June 19.
At around 3:00 a.m., emergency crews were dispatched to the site of a major accident involving a semi-truck.
Reports from authorities show that a horse-drawn buggy was struck by a semi-truck during the early morning hours. The buggy was completely demolished as a result of the crash.
The driver of the buggy was fatally injured and pronounced deceased at the scene.
The truck driver was not injured.
At this time, the incident is being investigated by the police.
