Lansing, MI (December 6, 2023) – Two people were injured as a result of a truck accident that took place in the Lansing area. The accident was reported just before 8:00 a.m. on December 5.
According to the Michigan State Police, a semi-truck tractor-trailer was traveling on Interstate 94 during the morning hours. For unknown reasons, the vehicle became involved in a crash with a Cadillac, which was driven by a 92-year-old man, near the US Highway 52 exit. The collision caused the truck to overturn off the roadway and come to rest on its roof.
The drivers of both vehicles were injured as a result of the accident. EMS responded to the scene to render aid to the two victims. They were transported to local hospitals for further treatment and evaluation. The police shut down the roadway for an extended period as they worked to remove cargo and debris from the road. Investigations into the crash are underway.
