Laurens County, SC – Truck Crash on I-385 Ends in Fatal Injuries

Laurens County, SC (September 19, 2023) – Emergency crews were called to the site of a fatal accident in Laurens County that claimed two victims’ lives.

The accident occurred on September 17 at around 11:00 a.m.

According to official reports, a motorcycle and a tractor-trailer collided on Interstate 385. The incident prompted officials to shut down the roadway near mile marker 16 during the morning hours.

Two people suffered fatal injuries in the accident and were pronounced deceased at the scene. The victims were identified as a 55-year-old man from Greenville, South Carolina, and a 38-year-old woman from Laurens County, South Carolina.

No other injuries were reported in this crash.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently investigating.
