Los Alamos, CA (October 4, 2023) – A woman was injured as a result of a truck accident that took place in Santa Barbara County.
The accident occurred at around 6:00 a.m. on October 2.
According to reports provided by the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, a gasoline tanker truck was traveling on the southbound side of Highway 101 when it became involved in a collision with a car near Alisos Canyon Road.
Reports show that the driver of the car became trapped inside of her vehicle and had to be extricated by firefighters. The woman was transported to Marion Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria, California, for emergency care.
The tanker truck had to be towed from the scene of the crash.
No other injuries were reported.
Investigations into the crash are underway.
