Lubbock, TX – Fatal Truck Wreck on Loop 289 at Clovis Rd

Lubbock, TX (December 1, 2023) – A truck crash reported on Wednesday morning in the Lubbock area claimed one person’s life. The incident occurred at around 8:00 a.m. on November 29.

According to reports provided by the Texas Department of Public Safety, an 18-wheeler and a second vehicle collided in the area of North Loop 289 and Clovis Road. The incident prompted law enforcement officers to shut down the roadway as they worked to remove the involved vehicles from the scene. Medics responded to care for the injured victims.
