Margate Parks, FL (November 12, 2023) – A City of Margate Parks and Recreation truck was involved in a crash on Saturday evening that sent three people to a local hospital with injuries.
On November 11, the Margate Police Department and firefighters were called to the scene of a crash that took place on Florida State Route 7.
According to official reports, the commercial vehicle was traveling in the area near the GameStop store, which is located in a strip mall near the intersection of Florida State Route 7 and Atlantic Boulevard. For unknown reasons, the vehicle became involved in a collision with a second vehicle, which caused the commercial vehicle to plow through the storefront, causing significant damage.
Three people were injured as a result of the accident. The victims were transported to North Broward’s Trauma Center for emergency care.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
