There are many instances where people are hurt in truck accidents due to the negligence of others. Common factors involved in these accidents include:

  • Intoxication: Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is an extremely hazardous behavior that significantly impairs a driver’s judgment, coordination, and reaction time. Issues such as worn-out brakes, faulty steering mechanisms, or defective tires can result in loss of control and accidents. It is crucial for trucking companies and drivers to place a strong emphasis on performing routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance to ensure the safe operation of their vehicles.
  • Truck driver error: Human error remains one of the leading causes of truck accidents.
