Montclair, NJ (May 23, 2023) – A man has died as a result of a motorcycle accident involving a truck that occurred on Monday afternoon.
On May 22, officials were called to the scene of a crash that occurred on Bloomfield Avenue.
Reports indicate that a dump truck and a motorcycle collided on the roadway at around 1:44 p.m. As a result of the collision, the motorcycle and the rider became pinned underneath the truck.
Emergency crews responded to the scene of the accident and removed the victims. The driver, identified as a 41-year-old man, was pronounced deceased as a result of his injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation by the Essex County Prosecutor’s Crime Scene Investigations Bureau.
