Nettie, WV (May 25, 2023) – A 42-year-old man has died as a result of a truck accident that took place early Wednesday morning, May 24.
At around 4:30 a.m., the West Virginia State Police responded to the scene of a crash that took place on West Virginia State Highway 39 and reportedly involved a tractor-trailer and a male pedestrian.
Reports from authorities show that a 2020 Kenilworth tractor-trailer was traveling on the roadway when it struck a man during the early morning hours.
The pedestrian, identified as a 42-year-old man from the Leivasy area, was fatally injured in the collision. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, the state police are investigating the crash.
