New Springfield, OH (December 8, 2023) – A truck accident reported in the new Springfield area resulted in injuries. The crash occurred during the evening hours on Wednesday, December 6.
Reports provided by the Ohio State Highway Patrol indicate that an Amazon delivery van and a second vehicle collided on Woodworth Road near Garfield Road during the evening hours. The incident prompted the response of multiple emergency crews in Springfield Township, including the area police, firefighters, and emergency medical services.
Emergency crews closed off the roadway while providing assistance. One person involved in the crash was injured. Emergency medical services tended to the victim on site before transporting them to a local hospital. The accident is currently under investigation.
