Newton, MA (August 29, 2023) – A bicyclist was left injured as a result of a truck accident that took place in Newton on Monday, August 28.
Just before 5:25 p.m., the Newton Police Department was dispatched to a major crash that occurred on Bridge Street.
Reports show that a bicyclist was riding in the area of Bridge Street and Watertown Street during the early evening hours when they were struck by a UPS truck.
The cyclist was injured due to the crash. Emergency medical services transported the victim to a local hospital for emergency treatment.
The Newton Police Department is currently investigating.
