Omaha, NE (September 8, 2023) – One person was injured due to an automobile accident that took place in the Omaha area.
The police were notified of the crash at around 12:45 p.m. on September 7.
According to reports from the Omaha Police Department, a box truck was traveling in the area of North 30th Street in Ames Avenue during the afternoon hours. For unknown reasons, the truck crashed into the arming of a Scooter’s Coffee shop located near the intersection. The impact of the crash caused the arming to collapse on top of a car.
One person was trapped inside their vehicle and had to be extricated by firefighters. It took firefighters approximately 20 to 25 minutes to pull the man to safety. The man was seriously injured and transported to an area hospital for emergency care.
The accident is currently being investigated by the police.
