Osceola Co., FL (December 15, 2023) – The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a major truck accident that resulted in injuries for multiple patients. The accident occurred during the morning hours on Thursday, December 14.
Florida Highway Patrol trooper reports indicate that a total of five vehicles, identified as a 2022 Dodge Ram 3500 pickup truck, a 2024 Toyota RAV4 SUV, and three semi-trucks, all collided on the northbound side of Florida’s Turnpike. The incident blocked several lanes of the roadway, causing severe delays in the area.
Five people were injured as a result of the accident. Two of the victims were flown to Osceola Regional Hospital for emergency medical care. Three additional victims were transported by ambulance to the same hospital. At this time, investigations into the crash are ongoing.
