Paint Township, PA – CSX Train vs Truck Crash on Carpenters Park Rd near Cottage Ln Leaves One Hurt

Paint Township, PA (August 25, 2023) – One person was injured as a result of a crash that occurred in Paint Township on Wednesday, August 23.

At around 10:00 a.m., authorities were called to the scene of an accident that occurred at the intersection of Carpenters Park Road and Cottage Lane.

According to authorities, a CSX train and a K&L Gas and Oil truck collided for unknown reasons. The incident prompted authorities to close off the roadway.

The Conemaugh Township EMS and the Northern EMS responded to the scene with firefighters from Scalp Level/Pain and Windber to provide assistance.

One person was injured in the accident.

The police department is currently investigating the incident.
