Panama City, FL – Woman Injured in Truck Wreck on Titus Rd at Hwy 231

Panama City, FL (December 7, 2023) – A woman was hospitalized as a result of a truck accident that occurred on Tuesday morning in Panama City, Florida. The accident took place at around 2:20 a.m. on December 5.

Preliminary investigations provided by the Florida Highway Patrol indicated that a 31-year-old woman from Dothan, Alabama, was driving a sedan on Titus Road near Highway 231. For unknown reasons, her vehicle was struck by a semi-truck, which was driven by a 51-year-old man.

Both of the vehicles came to rest on the northbound side of the roadway. Oil spilled across several lanes of travel due to the accident. The woman was severely injured in the crash. She was rushed by ambulance to an area hospital, where she was admitted in critical condition. At this time, the Florida Highway Patrol is investigating. No other injuries were reported.
