Portage, MI (June 10, 2023) – The Portage Public Safety confirmed that one man lost his life as a result of a crash that occurred on Thursday evening, June 8.
At around 7:20 p.m., emergency officials were called to the site of a crash that occurred at the intersection of Sprinkle Road and East Kilgore Road.
Emergency reports indicate that a motorcycle and a FedEx truck collided at the intersection during the evening hours. Emergency officials rushed to the scene and shut down the road.
A 36-year-old man who was using a motorcycle was fatally injured in the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
