Potterville, MI – Truck Crash on I-69 near Vermontville Highway Leaves One Hurt

Potterville, MI (May 24, 2023) – On Tuesday, the Michigan State Police responded to the scene of an automobile accident that took place in Eaton County.

On May 23, at around 3:45 p.m., authorities were notified that a truck crash occurred on Interstate 69.

Reports indicate that a light-colored SUV collided with a semi-truck tractor-trailer on the interstate. The impact of the crash caused the truck to go off the roadway near the Vermontville Highway overpass.

Police responded to the scene and shut down the northbound travel lanes. One person involved in the accident was injured. The victim was rushed to an area hospital, where they were admitted in serious condition.

At this time, the incident is being investigated.
